The government of Tanzania has established the Legal Services Facility (LSF) which is part of the Tanzania Governance Support Programme 2011-2015. It aims to enhance the provision of legal aid both in Tanzania mainland and Zanzibar.  The facility is aimed to promote and protect human rights for all, particularly for poor women, children, men and the vulnerable, including people living with HIV and AIDS.

Moreover, there are private and public legal firms which provide legal services including, corporate matters, employment, taxation and various other areas of relevance to regulatory authorities, divorce and separation issues, and misdemeanor criminal matters. Other services we provide include small claims counseling, name changes, consumer credit and debt problems, and property damage claims.
