A political party is a political organization that typically seeks to influence, or entirely control, government policy, usually by nominating candidates with aligned political views and trying to seat them in political office.
Requirement:
Copies of the constitution
Rules of the party
Two founding members of the party
Procedures:
Submit to the Registrar an application in duplicate in Form PP.1
Subscribe a declaration in support of the application in Form PP.2 set out in the First Schedule.
Obtain the receipt of an application fee.
Issue a certificate of provisional registration on payment of the fees if the registrar is satisfied that the prescribed conditions for registration have been fulfilled.
Obtain the certificate of provisional registration in Form PP.3 set out in the First Schedule.
