“Application Services” means the reselling of electronic communication services and end users

Requirements:

• Receipt of application fee
• Business plan
• Network Roll out plan
• Company Registration/ Certificate of incorporation
• Information on technical proposal of the service to be provided
• Information on the previous experience
• Company profile
• Proof of financial capability

Procedures:

• Filling the application form correctly
• Submitting the duly filled application form
• Categorising the received applications
• Scrutinising  whether applications have all required attachments
• Conducting detailed evaluations of the applications  basing on pre-determine criteria
• Issuing Public Notice list of applicants on newspapers and posted in the Authority’s  Website to invite public comments
• Accessing public comments by evaluation team
• Inviting applicant to make presentation
• Recommendations of the evaluation team forwarded to the Management for decision making
• Recommendations of the Management shall be submitted to the Board for approval
• Approved applications by the Board shall be submitted to the Minister for consultation.
• Paying the appropriate fee (initial fee, frequency  user fee, numbering etc)
• Licenses granted to successful applicants.
